<p>The temperature-regulated electric water heater (1) comprises a tank with an input supply line (2) for cold water and an output line (3) for hot water. A magnetic valve (5) is incorporated in either the input or output line (2, 3) and closes in response to a loss of the mains voltage supply to the water heater (1). This valve (5) is pref. inserted in the output line (3), to prevent any hot water being drawn off during a failure in the mains supply, with a further valve (4) inserted in the input line (2) allowing the tank to be drained or isolated.</p> |
