Laminated polyolefin/polystyrene sheet and film is made using an adhesive comprising a homogeneous mixt. of (a) 50-90 wt. % of a 2-50:50-98 ethylene/acrylic acid 1-8C alkyl ester copolymer with a melt index of 0.1-100 g./10 min., (b) 10-50 wt. % of a styrene copolymer made by polymerising styrene monomer dissolved in a copolymer (a), at 50-100 degrees C. in the presence of a free radical catalyst such as an organic peroxide or AIBN, and opt. (c) 0-20 wt. % supplementary polystyrene with a melt index of 1-20 g./10 min. and a molecular wt. (from the soln. viscosity) of 200,000-300,000. The adhesives give excellent interlaminar adhesion in polyolefin/polystyrene laminates, so that e.g. deep drawing of sheets is possible without causing separation of the layers.
