<p>The method of securing together a set of sheets with adhesive is suitable for continuous stationery. It has the sheets (1, 2, 3) arranged in step formation and the adhesive (7) applied in a continuous or interrupted flow to the staggered edges. This adhesive can be applied through a series of rectangular openings each positioned above a set of edges. The lines of rectangular openings are parallel to the direction of travel (14) of the sheets. The lowermost sheet (3) of a set does not have rectangular openings, but the other sheets have openings. This permits the adhesive to flow down from esp (1) to bottom (3).</p> |
