Hangers 41 may be incorporated in the felt to hang the insulation material on a supporting surface. In one embodiment, an exterior composite insulation panel comprising a central mat of slag or mineral wool sandwiched between metallic mesh is supported on a vertical wall surface by studs, and the insulation material comprising felt 11 is supported adjacent said panel by means of metallic prongs (Figs. 6, 7, not shown). |
