Tint compositions for nylon having improved fugitivity properties comprising an admixture of a colorant having the general formula R{N-[(CH2CH2O)nH]2}x WHEREIN R is an organic dyestuff radical, x is an integer of 1 to 6, and the product of 2n times x is from about 200 to about 300, and at least 30 weight percent of a water-soluble polymeric resin. A minor effective amount of a free radical inhibitor can be incorporated into the tint compositions to retard free radical interaction between the colorant and the nylon.
