摘要 PURPOSE:To contrive the improvement in cooling power by a method wherein a cooling fluid is circulated through a porous substance of high thermal conductivity by bringing this porous substance into contact with an object to be cooled. CONSTITUTION:A reflection mirror 6 as the object to be cooled is fixed at the tip of the axial part of a housing 4. The porous substance 7 of high thermal conductivity which allows the circulation of cooling air is in contact with the back of the reflection mirror 6, and this mirror 6 and the porous substance 7 are integrally fixed to the housing 4 with a plug 8. The axial part of this plug 8 and this porous substance 7 are provided with cooling air fluid paths 9 and 10, respectively. The above-mentioned construction enables the cooling air supplied into the path 9 to flow through this path 9 into the path 10 of the porous substance 7 and into a gap 12, and to circulate through the porous substance 7 into an annular groove 15. At this time, since the cooling air is being circulated through the porous substance 7, the heat of the reflection mirror 6 is well-transferred to the substance 7, and excellent exchange of heat can be carried out between the substance 7 and the cooling air.
