The mowing machine includes a housing and a support frame with a number of rotating blades which has a corrugated edge and are each mounted on a spindle with a toothed wheel attachment. The wheels are eccentrically mounted w.r.t. the main driving spindle. The height of the lower edge of the cutter tip is between 20% and 80% of the distance of the base of the main housing from the ground, and this spacing is adjustable. The angle between each cutter blade at the lower edge and the main vertical support shaft is >90 deg. so that the tip of each blade is inclined downwards towards the ground in order to cut the hay.
