<p>A fungicidal formulation contains dry sulphur particles, the major part of which have a particle size of 0.1-50 mu m, the particles being coated with an adhesive/wetting agent. Used for fungicidal treatment of plants such as vines, potatoes, fruit trees, cereals, root crops, ornamental plants etc. The formulations are much more effective than conventional dry sulphur fungicides. In an example vines were treated with micronised S, 80% of which had a particle size of 2-7 mu m, coated with ligning sulphonate. The treatment was as as effective at 8-10kg/ha as was a conventional powdered sulphur treatment, particle size 60-500 mu m, at 25-30kg/ha.</p> |
