Packing carton made from single sheet - has locking tab which fits into lid flap slot and handle strip secured by rivets

The container is made from a single sheet of either plain or corrugated cardboard. Each of the four sides is extended at the top or bottom to form the base of the container at one end and the lid of the container at the other. An additional inside flap along the side allows for gluing of the four pieces into a rectangular sectioned box. An additional strip (33) is fitted with slots which take the rivets. The carton is closed by means of a tab (37) which fits in a slot in the flap of the lid (27D).
