<p>Safety belt lock is for either manual or electro-magnetic release. A switch (1) is co-ordinated with the lock in such a way that it can be opened when required either with a time delay or immediately, electro-magnetically. The electro-magnet is pot-shaped and fitted with a bolt which is used both to lock the end of the belt and for the direct manual operation of the pressure-release lever. The loop end of the belt actuates a contact, either directly or indirectly, which controls the switching of the electro-magnet.</p> |
