The insulating case is mounted inside an appliance, and has a switching rocker operating a switching element by an arm projecting into the case. Depending on the rocker position, the arm either connects two contacts in the case, or separates them. The switching element (22) is in the form of a springy sliding element movable transversally to the rocker axis on a support (21) consisting of insulating surfaces (20) and contacts (16, 17). It is locked in its end positions.
