The up and over door is guided at its lower end by vertical rails on both sides. The upper end of the door is guided on both sides by horizontal rails. The lower edge of the door panel (1) is connected to a hoisting arrangement (13). The door is pulled upwards along the vertical side guides (5). The upper edge of the door is connected to the electric motor (17) drive (11) which pulls the door along the horizontal side guides (9). The motor is also used for pushing the door outwards along horizontal guides for closing.
