Turbo generator set control system - cuts load control and connects generator sensor via electro:hydraulic unit to speed control when grid disconnected

The arrangement for electro-hydraulic control of a steam turbine using an electro-hydraulic transducer renders the load controller in-operative when the generator is disconnected from the grid so that the turbine is controlled by the speed controller only. It is particularly intended for an industrial turbo-generator set. The modulating output of a sensor responding to an electrical generator parameter is connected to the exciter coil of the transducer via a relay which is switched by the grid coupling switch. The hydraulic output of the transducer is connected to the input of a set point adjuster of the speed controller which operates with hydraulic input and output.
