Each shaft is provided with a support 126 for at least one, but preferably two, tines 140, or other soil tillage tool, the support having a hub 129 arranged on the shaft and located substantially wholly inside the frame 1. The support 126 also comprises a flange 127 to the underside of which the coils 137 of the tines 140 are attached by means of the pins 135 supported between the lugs 131, 132 and 133, 134, the ends of the tines remote from the soil working ends being joined by a connecting part 141 forming a one piece construction. The embodiment of Fig. 5 (not shown) has the tines formed from a single length of strip-shaped leaf spring steel fastened about the pins 135 which are mounted between lugs (145) in one recess of the flange (143) and lugs (146) in a diametrically opposed recess of the flange.
