1518570 Fluxing circuit boards; sprayproducers GRUNDIG EMV 9 Dec 1976 [3 May 1976] 51448/76 Headings B2F and B2L Apparatus for fluxing circuit boards 20 comprises a receptacle 10 for fluxing medium, and feeding means for the fluxing medium and circuit boards, a brush cylinder 13 dipping partly into a bath 12 of the medium, a stripping member 15 having an edge movable into the path of the brush bristles 14 at a position following bath 12, and means for guiding boards 20 above cylinder 13 so as to be fluxed by the resultant spray. Fluxing medium may be circulated by pump 11 to bath 12, which overflows so as to provide a constant depth therein. The bristles of the brush may be natural, synthetic, or of metal; the position of member 15 is altered by hydraulic or magnetic device 16; the amount of flux reaching the board 20 is controlled by varying the rotational speed of cylinder 13, the position of member 15, or the width of slot 18 using plate 19.
