1518352 Thermoplastic moulding compositions GENERAL ELECTRIC CO 20 May 1975 [7 June 1974] 21480/75 Headings C3M and C3R A thermoplastic moulding composition comprises (a) 30-95 parts by weight of a copolymer of a vinyl aromatic compound and an ethylenically unsaturated anhydride (b) 10-70 parts by weight of a block copolymer ABA where A is a polymerized alkenyl aromatic hydrocarbon block and B is a polymerized conjugated hydrocarbon block or a hydrogenated ABA block copolymer of a mixture thereof or a mixture of either or both of these with an emulsion graft copolymer of an acrylic monomer on a rubbery diene homopolymer or a styrene-diene copolymer backbone and (c) 0-50 parts by weight of a polyphenylene ether resin. The exemplified compositions comprise a styrene-maleic anhydride copolymer, an ABA or hydrogenated ABA block copolymer and in some cases poly- (2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenylene)ether. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1,325,884.
