The support 2 is carried from a base by a column 1, and the cylinders 5 are vulcanized to the support and the seat. In a second embodiment, Figs. 3 and 4 (not shown), an existing fixed-seat chair is converted into one having a resiliently mounted seat by interposing resilient rubber cylinders vulcanized to end steel discs (6) between the seat and the support of the chair. The discs (6) may be omitted. |
