1472466 Scaffolding; lattice structures N H AHLGREN 18 April 1974 [27 April 1973] 16939/74 Headings E1K and E1S [Also in Division F2] A scaffolding framework, particularly for supporting formwork for concrete bridges, comprises upright longitudinal elements 3 interconnected by transverse elements 4, the connections 5 between the longitudinal and transverse elements, at least at one side of the framework, being such as to allow slight longitudinal displacement of the longitudinal elements 3 relative to the transverse elements 4 after overcoming a predetermined resistance, the connections 5 each comprising a bolt on the end of the transverse element slidably received in slotted lugs on the longitudinal element. The predetermined resistance may be provided by adjustable spring-loaded washers on the bolts. The transverse elements are preferably of lattice form, as shown. The longitudinal elements may have jacks 11, preferably hydraulic, at their lower ends.
|
