PURPOSE:To obtain a herbicide having high safety to paddy rice plants, containing H-(4-methyl-2-pyridyl)2-[4-(4-cyanophenoxy)phenoxy]propionamide and 2-(2,4-dichloro-3-methylphenoxy)propionanilide. CONSTITUTION:A herbicide composition containing (A) N-(4-methyl-2- pyridyl)2-[4-(4-cyanophenoxy)phenoxy]propionamide and (B) 2-(2,4-dichloro-3- methylphenoxy)propionanilide as active ingredients. This composition shows high herbicidal effects on various weeds by a combination of mutually small amounts of the components and hardly causes phytotoxicity to paddy rice plants. Since the composition shows excellently herbicidal effects not only on weeds at an early stage of growth but also on weeds at a considerably grown stage, the composition has a wide application period. An application amount is properly 2-30g compound A and 0.5-20g compound B based on 1a. |
