<p>The solar collector has a box-shaped lower part (16) with an outer flange (17). Situated in the outer flange is a raised bead (18) which is adhesively bonded to the edge region of a double glass pane (19). A subframe profile (20) runs, with an elastic sealing strip (21) being interposed, along the side wall of the box-shaped lower part and the underside of the outer flange. The part of the subframe profile projecting beyond the outer flange is of U-shaped design. A covering clamping strip (25), which is bent a number of times, is fastened under pretension on the free front-side leg (22) of the U-shaped subframe profile by means of sheet-metal screws (23) so that the outer flange and the edge region of the double glass pane are clamped in between the edge regions of the covering clamping strip and the subframe profile. The covering clamping strip and the subframe profile form the clamping frame which affords the solar collector great mechanical stability. <IMAGE></p> |
