PURPOSE:To improve the power factor and torque ripple of a synchronous motor by adding a divider and a delay circuit when the motor is driven by a current type power converter to alter the set leading angle of a distributor and controlling the marginal time constantly. CONSTITUTION:A generator motor 4 is driven by current type power inverters 2, 3, 7, six distributors 5c are provided to apply a signal of 60 deg. phase delay at the low speed time and the signal as it is at the high speed time from a converter 6a to the gate of the inverter 7. On the other hand, a speed signal generator 13 which applies a bias to the signal of the speed detector 9 and reference amount 12 are applied to a divider 14, the product 17 of the integrated time constant and the constant marginal period is subtracted from the output of the divider 14, the gate signal is delayed from the output of the converter 6a by an integration comparator 18, thereby controlling the inverter 7. Accordingly, the intermittent start and constant current acceleration can be performed only with six distributors 5c, thereby improving the power factor, accelerating time and torque ripple. |
