<p>The roofing tile is provided with weather protection sealing to exclude wind driven rain and snow. Each tile is rectangular in shape, one long side having a flanged edge. The opposite long side has a channel, the two overlapping when laid, with a rib on the flange locating in a groove in the channel. The joint is made on top of a suitable roofing batten (18) an inturned rib locking over a rebated side (18a) of the batten. After positioning, the joint is completed by nailing (33) through flange and channel into the batten pinning both tiles in place to resist wind pressure.</p> |
