<p>The surfboard has inflatable float(s) inside a sectional (pref. three-part) hull fitted with one or more lee-boards. The hull is stiffened with boards, which are made in two parts hinged together with flexible material. The mast, which takes apart for packing, is fitted to the middle section of the hull at a universal joint. It is fitted with a boom and two triangular sails, one above and one beneath the boom. The inflatable floats can contact the water directly, lying underneath the three-part board on which the mast is mounted. One section of the float runs round the edge of this hull.</p> |
