<p>The automatic pilot compensating device comprises a sleeve (37) with a partially toothed flange (40) at one end for the input. The output sleve-to-shaft output coupling is by radial pegs (48, 49; 51, 52) in the planes of two ring-sector shaped discs (46, 47). A torsion spring (45) links the discs and is present to hold the pegs firmly between the opposed radial faces (53) of the discs and act as a load regulator. A manual override is fitted, as are indicators for the movement of the shaft relative to the casing and sleeve.</p> |
