A reflector, especially for illuminating copy boards, consists of a pair of parabolic halfcylinders 36, 37 having a common focal axis 38 and being divergent outwardly relative to a parabolic cylinder having the same axis. The parts 36, 37 may be adjusted according to marks 41 on a supporting frame 42 and secured in adjusted position by wing nuts 40. A lamp 39 is arranged on the focal axis. The reflectors and lamps are arranged on opposite sides of the copy board and are movable away from these, being simultaneously moved upwards so as to provide for illumination of copies of different sizes. One pair may be adjustable in this way and a second pair, movable laterally of the board in addition, may be provided. For illuminating very large copies, a third pair may be provided. |
