SOLUTION: There is provided a resin composition for a golf ball, wherein when the storage elastic modulus of a kinetic viscous elasticity measured under conditions of a temperature of a base material resin of 23°C, a vibration frequency of 15 Hz, a strain of 1.0% is E'(1), and tanδ defined by the ratio between a storage elastic modulus and a loss elastic modulus is T(1), the E'(1) and T(1) satisfy a specific numerical expression. When the storage elastic modulus of the kinetic viscous elasticity measured under the conditions of the temperature of the base material resin of 23°C, the vibration frequency of 15 Hz and the strain of 10% is E'(10), and the value of the tanδ is T(10), the E'(10) and T(10) satisfy a specific numerical expression.EFFECT: By using a resin composition of the present invention for a cover material, or the like of a golf ball, from an impact to a follow-though, a force to be transmitted to the ball, while the ball and the club face are contacting, can be felt easily to make distance adjustment easy and to make excellent the operability at a short iron of a sand wedge around the green.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
