Packaging machine processes tracks of material stacked and sealed tight to each other along at least three lines placed at a sideways distance from each other. The machine includes a pressure wheel for each sealing line and sealing wheels located in each case above one of the pressure wheels with which they work. A sealing pressure is exerted on to the material tracks. An air filled tyre is positioned on each sealing wheel and a control alters the air pressure in the tyres in order to equalise position or measurement errors. This adjustment ensures that the required sealing pressure is applied to the track by each wheel in relation to the other wheel.
