<p>The valve assembly is used for pneumatic pile driving or retrieving rams, to produce the instant pressure wave necessary for the restarting of the ram and to enable idling operation of the ram for any period. Th pressure line from the compressor has a shut-off valve in series and shut-off valve as well as a throttle fitted in a bypass joining the line, leading to the tool connection. The valves are electrically controlled via a throw-over switch. The throttle is adjustable and controls the compressed air supply to the tool via the shut off valve. When the switch is in one position, the valve opens and the valve shut off remains closed, so that the tool receives an instant burst of pressure for restarting the tool.</p> |
