1517138 Lamps L V ANQUETIN 29 April 1977 [10 May 1976] 18057/77 Heading F4R A flexible lighting strip comprises an elongate plastics section 1 defining a cylindrical cavity 1c containing a chain of electric lamps 9 and a pair of longitudinal grooves containing bare electric conductors 3, 4. The lamps are connected to the conductors 3, 4 by conductors 2 which extend through a central triangular slit 1a and are clamped by the edge 16 of the slit. A translucent polymerizable compound 5 insulates the conductors and adheres to a reflective sheet 6 (e.g. of aluminium). A tape 7 of highdensity polyurethane foam is secured to the sheet 6 and to an object (e.g. showcase, furniture) by adhesive layers 7b, 7a. |
