Nips 34 and 36 are used for fusing toner images borne on plain paper and transparent film respectively. In another embodiment, Fig. 3 (not shown), a single hard surfaced roller forms nips with two resilient surfaced rollers. In a further embodiment (not illustrated), two different rollers which are interchangeable in positions are stated to be used for forming the nips. |
