CONVERTER SLAG SEPARATING METHOD

PURPOSE:To efficiently separate molten converter slag of an easily separable composition into phosphorus- and iron-contg. layers and effectively utilize the slag by cooling the slag to a temp. below the solidification finishing temp. so as to solidify it and heating the solidified slag to a specified temp. followed by cooling the slag or maintaining the temp. of the slag.
