PURPOSE:To enhance the power factor of a linear motor by providing to superpose metal plates of high conductivity in a core, thereby suppressing the generation of unnecessary magnetic flux. CONSTITUTION:Metal plates 6 having high conductivity are superposed in a core 7 having no tees and slots. Coils 8-11 are closely wound in a drum shape on the core 7 superposed with the plates 6. The coils 8, 10 are so coupled to form a reverse magnetic flux in the core 7, and an AC current in phase is supplied. The coils 9, 11 are similarly coupled to form reverse magnetic flux in the core 7, and AC currents having 90 deg. of phase difference from the coils 8, 10 are supplied to the coils. |
