The door provided with a lower multi-part contact seal (6, 6') has a leaf frame and an outer frame which consist of hollow profiles. The base profile (2) of the door frame is connected by butt-joint to vertical door uprights (1). Fixed on the lower wall of the base profile (2) is a profile (5) with a base plate (7) and a sealing lip (8), which is used for mounting a contact seal (6). To continue the contact seal over the region of the chamber between the vertical outer-frame uprights (3) and the vertical leaf-frame uprights (1), filling pieces (13, 14) made of plastic are provided both in the leaf-side and in the outer-frame-side part of the chamber. Fastened on one filling piece (13) is the extension of the contact seal (6), while fixed to the other filling piece (14) is a further contact seal (6') which aligns with the first-mentioned contact seal (6) when the door is closed so that perfect sealing is guaranteed over the entire region between the vertical outer-frame uprights. <IMAGE>
