The flasher control circuit has a motor driven contact with the four flasher lamps in parallel and coupled in series with the winding of the motor. The current to the lamps is controlled by a main contact operated by a cam driven off the motor. The flasher control switch (C) operates the lamps in pairs for direction indication or all together for hazard flashing. The layout of the motor windings is such that the flasher frequency does not change by a large amount, even when one or more of the lamps is faulty.
