Cattle shed dung conveyor - comprises one piece auger in eccentric trough with retaining strip acting against upper periphery

The conveyor is for cattle shed dung and other damp long-fibred material, e.g. wet straw, silage etc., comprising an auger working in a trough and driven by a motor outside the latter, coupled to it at one end. The auger (2) is in one piece, and supported in bearings only at the ends, resting on the trough (1) in between. The trough encloses the auger eccentrically for more than two-thirds of the periphery and over the entire length. A retaining strip extends radially inwards from the trough against the upper part of the auger periphery, and runs also for the entire conveyor length. Depending on the direction of rotation, the strip can be mounted between the 9 o'clock and 12, or 12 o'clock and 3 positions.
