The clutch is mounted on the cooling pump casing with a shaft and bearing (2). The magnetic coil is supported in a frame which is connected to the housing by means of bracket and the holding screws. The fan pulley (16) is keyed onto the pump shaft between the ring (19) and the end nut. The friction plate which is rivetted to a spring loaded plate (42) is attracted to the pulley when the electromagnet is energised.
