Disperse mono:azo dyes with high resistance to sublimation - give fast yellow to violet shades on synthetic fibres esp. polyester and polyamide

Disperse monoazo dyes have formula (I): In (I) D is the residue of diazo component of the benzene series contg. no water-solubilising gps.: R is CH3 or beta-cyanoethyl gp.; R' is H, formyl- or acetyl gp.; R" is a benzthiazoyl-2-thio-, N-acetylanilino-, N-acetyltoluidino-, nitrophenoxy-, or naphthoxy gp.; R" is H, CH3, halogen or acetylamino gp. and n = 0 or 1. (I) give fast yellow to violet colours to polyester-, polyamide and other synthetic fibres. The dyes have high colouring power and colour brightness and excellent resistance to sublimation, which makes them suitable for high temp. treatment processes.
