<p>Transport frame for carrying glass panes, esp. panes used in motor cars, where vertical and horizontal profiles are assembled to make a box frame. The glass panes rest on a bottom row of beams(a) which can be moved continuously or stepwise along the lowest horizontal profiles; and other horizontal beams(b) can be moved in a similar manner along other horizontal profiles. The horizontal profiles pref. have teeth, or are fitted with toothed racks; and each end of each beam(a, b) has a tooth which can be located in the teeth on the profiles. Alternatively, smooth profiles may be used with holes or limit stops which locate beams(a, b). The box frame may be assembled using hinges so it can be folded flat for stacking several frames.</p> |
