发明名称 Shock-absorber and noise-insulator laminated with plastics foam - which assumes honeycomb structure by regular incisions being pulled apart
摘要 Shock-absorbing and/or noise-insulating panels or webs have a layer of plastics foam with "chambers" to give it a honeycomb-like configuration, similar to that of so-called "expanded metals". This configuration is obtd. by providing the foam layer with incisions passing through its entire thickness. These incisions lie across the machine direction of the panels or webs and are "opened out" by pulling the foam layer along the machine direction. To maintain the shape of the so-formed "honeycomb" cells the foam layer is laminated on 1 or both sides. Used in construction of resilient and noise-absorbing floors and/or walls e.g. in sports halls, hospitals.
