The heat pump installation can have two heat pumps one above the other, each with a suction inlet at the front. The air is forced past two evaporators, and then passes out at the back through two L-shaped sound damping members (5). The flow travels horizontally then downwards. At the back are flow lines (6) and return lines (7) for heat exchangers connected to the respective evaporators. These lines also have branch lines (8, 9) for hot water to an external heating system. The vertical discharge parts of the L-shaped dampers are parallel. The heat pumps are brought into action successively corresponding to the load. The control system is housed above the two units, with the connecting cable at the rear.
