<p>A feed proportioning device for the metered supply of liquids to a consumer, e.g. liquid dye to a mixer contg. a supply of plastic granules, includes a metering pump which is coupled by a hose to a consumer, and an electric control unit. A carrier, which supports the pump in an inclined position to improve its suction capacity together with its control unit is made of a heat conductive metal of high specific gravity with cooling ribs and an adequate base plate. The carrier can be readily attached to the container for the liquid dye. It dissipates the heat developed by the control unit and is instantly ready for operation.</p> |
