<p>Dental X-ray equipment includes a camera mounted on the end of an overhead arm, the camera tilting about a horizontal axis between the forked end of the arm. The camera (1) carries a hood (2) over the front with a slot (4) down the middle. The operative height of the slit can be varied by rotating a ring (A) mounted inside the hood. This ring has an interceptor plate (3) projecting downwards from it, in line with the slit, and which can be moved away by rotating the ring. A button (8) attached to the outside face of the ring projects through a cam slot around the side of the hood, and is gripped to rotate the ring. A spring (6) projecting from the front face of the ring, holds it in tension.</p> |
