The thyristor static inverter, for induction heating, has an inductor, in a resonant circuit, supplied with pulses and periodically discharging its stored energy into one or more auxiliary capacitors. One or more rectifier diodes (9) are connected in parallel with these auxiliary capacitors (4) and are poled in the opposite direction to the charging voltage. The energy retained by the auxiliary capacitors is transferred by current pulses which repeat themselves every half period, or every integral number of periods.
