<p>The box-like structure has a planar cover which lies on top of the battery and which has access openings for servicing the battery. The structure also has side walls, of which >=1 forms at least part of a windscreen washer reservoir. Pref. the reservoir extends around a corner of the structure, enclosed by two of the side walls, has a capacity of >=50 fl. oz., and has fluid inlet and outlet openings in the top cover and adjacent to the bottom of the reservoir respectively. The isde walls and cover may be made of polypropylene, with an insulating layer of urethane foam on at least one of the walls. The combined unit occupies less space under the bonnet than separate heat shield and windscreen washer reservoir.</p> |
