<p>1516910 Radiographic film holder INTEX (RADIOGRAPHIC) Ltd 10 Nov 1976 46739/76 Heading B8K [Also in Division G2] A radiographic film holder is in the form of a flattened elongate tube of light-proof material, e.g. black plasticized PVC reinforced with a filamentary mesh, is open at one end and sealed across the other. The tube is foldable so that the initially open end may be rendered closed and light-tight, and has re-usable closure means to hold the folded part of the tube in its closed state. The material of the tube extends around the longitudinal edges of the tube in a continuous smooth curve without any fold, seam, or plait. The holder may include none, one, or more longitudinal heat-welded seams parallel to but spaced from its edges, and its edges may be offset at the open end to provide a closure flap. The inner edge of the open end may be shaped to assist insertion of a film into the envelope. The re-usable closure means may be pressstuds, tuck flaps, or, as shown a Velcro (R.T.M.) fastener.</p> |
