<p>1516586 Mechanical switches ETABS CARPANO & PONS 9 Nov 1976 [19 Nov 1975] 46508/76 Heading H1N A torque limiter for de-energizing an electric motor 1, Fig. 2, at a predetermined torque, comprises a spring biased member 9, 22 fixed for rotation with the motor casing 2 and cooperating with a profile 11 on a fixed support 3 whereby on release from ramps 14, 15 of the profile 11 it rotates to operate one or other of micro-switches 29, 30 with the projection 20 riding on to one of the flats 16, 17 of the profile whereby there is no tendency for the device to return under bias and restart the motor in the same direction. In modifications the projections 20 or groove 11 may be on radially slidable members mounted in fixed or rotatable parts.</p> |
