<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a drain pipe from being clogged by measuring an atmospheric pressure fluctuation in the drain pipe at the time of allowing drainage to flow down, measuring an atmospheric pressure fluctuation in the drain pipe at the time of allowing drainage to flow down in a state that the drain pipe is normal and comparing this measured value and a set value determined in advance. CONSTITUTION:A drainage use riser 1 communicates vertically like a straight line, for instance, extending from a first floor to a tenth floor, and a vent pipe 2 is connected to the upper end. As a result of experiment, in the case when a drain pipe is clogged, it is confirmed that an atmospheric pressure fluctuation in the pipe at the time of allowing drainage to flow down becomes larger than the case when there is no clogging. In such a way, by comparing with a set value determined in advance, based on the atmospheric pressure fluctuation in the drain pipe at the time of allowing drainage to flow down, a clogged state of the drain pipe can be detected.</p> |
