<p>This assembly which comprises two cylinders can be used particularly in printing machines in which the cylinders are mounted adjustably and kept at a given distance from each other. A first cylinder (7) of the pair of cylinders (7,8) is supported at each of its ends by an elastically deformable member (4) and the second cylinder (8) of the pair of cylinders may be brought close to and moved away from the first cylinder by means of a support and adjustment device which reacts during operation to the elastic deformations of the elastically deformable member when these deformations exceed a predetermined value. <IMAGE></p> |
