<p>The fluidized bed combustion chamber ensures a correct supply of fuel and air for the combustion with pipes projecting from the bottom of the chamber. The end of the pipes (5) features orifices (7), and is surrounded by the cup (8) which overlaps the openings. This leaves a clearance (10) between the button edge of the cup and the flange (9) through which air is fed to the fluidized bed. Smaller tubes inside pipes (6) or separate tubes can supply the fuel. The cup prevents particles of the fluidized bed to move into pipes (5) as well as provides a shield against the heat of the bed.</p> |
