<p>Presser foot for stitching a concealed sliding clasp fastener to a garment comprises a shaft and a first plate with two spaced grooves for the rows of fastener elements and with a first needle hole between the grooves in its lower surface. A second base plate with a second needle hole on one side and with an outer surface at an angle to the lower surface of the first base plate is connected to the first base plate by a welded lever mounted pivotably on the shaft. This lever pivots between a position with the lower surface of the first plate perpendicular to the shaft, and a position with the outer surface of the second plate perpendicular to the shaft. The presser foot allows even precision advance of fabric pieces, with stitches at regular intervals, and without creasing.</p> |
